(CercleFinance.com) – ABB announces that it has been chosen to supply electrification and automation systems for ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India’s (AM/NS India) advanced steel cold rolling mill (CRM) in Hazira, the Indian state of Gujarat.
AM/NS India – a joint venture between two of the world’s leading steel companies ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel – is implementing the new CRM as part of its downstream expansion plan.
ABB technology will support increased energy efficiency and optimized zinc consumption, leading to greater sustainability in the steel production process.
