ArcelorMittal: declines despite a favorable analyst rating

(Boursier.com) — ArcelorMittal falls 0.8% to 20 euros at midday. The steelmaker is thus hardly benefiting from a rating from Kepler Cheuvreux, which has resumed coverage of the file with a ‘buy’ rating and a target of 38 euros. Despite a difficult stock market year (the stock lost around 22% in 2024), the market remains very positive on the steel giant. According to the ‘Bloomberg’ consensus, 15 analysts are in fact ‘buy’, 5 ‘hold’ and none ‘sell’. The average twelve-month target is set at 29.41 euros.
