In a promotional video posted on the ARCH brand website, co-founders Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger discuss the future of motorcycle power and talk about electric, which could be part of the future development of their custom bikes .

A short, but not insignificant allusion to electricity, which suggests that ARCH will also enter the market for electric motorcycles.

Custom electric motorcycles coming soon?

If you didn’t know that actor Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick) had founded a company creating custom motorcycles, now you know. ARCH was created in 2011 by Keanu Reeves and his friend Gard Hollinger after the pair got together over an order for a custom Harley-Davidson from the famous actor.

The company seems to be working well, as evidenced by its longevity of more than 10 years of existence. On its website, ARCH published a promotional video of the brand with an interview of the two co-founders in the background. Towards the end of the video, Hollinger talks about the future: “We live in a time now in which there is so much talk about what powers the vehicles of the future…and so the idea of being able to develop our own drivetrains – whether electric or internal combustion – I believe that all of these things make ARCH what it is”.

A not insignificant quote since it was left in the final edit of the video. If ARCH turns to the creation of electric motorcycles soon, it will be one of the rare brands to offer cruisers (its specialty) with this type of engine.
