Archer-Daniels dives into Wall Street over accounting investigation

(Boursier.com) — Archer-Daniels-Midland , the American multinational agro-industry and raw materials, drops before market on Wall Street, while its financial director has been suspended against the backdrop of an accounting investigation concerning the group’s practices in agricultural trade. Vikram Luthar, CFO of the case, is therefore suspended. ADM also says it is cooperating with the Securities & Exchange Commission in the investigation. The Chicago group withdraws its forecasts on the nutrition activity and plans to postpone its annual publication. The group expects adjusted earnings per share of more than $6.90 for the financial year ending at the end of December.
