(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has approved, under the European Merger Regulation, the acquisition of Sabaton Ventures (the parent company of the Attero Group), based in the Netherlands, by Ardian France (subsidiary of the Ardian Group ), based in France.
The transaction mainly concerns the waste management and electricity production markets.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns, given the limited position of the companies concerned on the relevant markets.
