Apple’s sites have just revealed new prices for most of the firm’s services. Thus, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple One are taking a significant price increase.
In the classic concern of “ continue to produce high quality content » (sic), Apple has just significantly increased the price of three of its services. If you use Apple TV+ streaming services, the Apple Arcade game offering or, even, the Apple One aggregation solution (iCloud+, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade), it will definitely cost you more each month to remain subscribed.
Another (strong) increase for Apple TV+
First of all, Apple TV+ is now billed at 9.99 euros per month. For the record, when it was launched, Apple only asked for 4.99 euros per month, before increasing to 6.99 euros per month a year ago. This new increase is obviously accompanied by a fuller catalog than in 2019, and some very good series. But we are still far from matching what the competition offers for approximately the same price, particularly in the absence of series and films from elsewhere.

This increase, however, makes the Canal+ offers which integrate the Apple TV+ catalog within myCanal at no additional cost even more interesting. But for how long ? A removal of this advantage or an increase in the price at Canal+ are credible possibilities.
First increase for Apple Arcade
Unlike Apple TV+, this is the first time Apple has increased the price of Apple Arcade. It will now cost 6.99 euros per month instead of 4.99 euros per month to download games, an increase of two euros.
Finally, due to the increase in Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade, Apple One quite logically increases by three euros – and not five, fortunately! – also in all its formulas. The individual offer thus increases to 19.95 euros per month, the family to 25.95 euros per month and the premium to 34.95 euros per month. The good news in all this is that despite Deezer’s recent increase to 11.99 euros per month, Apple Music remains (for the moment?) at 10.99 euros per month.

Many months after its launch, the manufacturer does not have much to be ashamed of its platform. Certainly, the catalog remains light compared to the competition, but the series are all excellent. The service has opened up a little to third-party media and the video quality is undoubtedly the best currently available on the market. However, with its new high price, Apple is more than ever offering a dispensable product, but one that is worth trying at least for a few unmissable shows.
