The e-commerce giant has announced the return of Prime Days for this year. We give you the information in our possession to make a maximum of good deals soon.
If you have already subscribed to Amazon Prime for a few years, you are aware that the American group organizes an event called Prime Day every year.
Prime Day is a must-attend event for Amazon every year
Prime Day usually spans two weekdays and is restricted to Amazon Prime members only. During these 48 hours, Amazon is slashing prices on a large number of tech items, including its own product lines such as Echo connected speakers, Fire TV TV boxes, but also on a large selection of smartphones, connected TVs and Laptop PCs.
This year, Prime Day 2023 took place on July 11 and 12, and the operation was a financial success for the American brand. According to a study by Adobe Analytics, over the two days, Amazon Prime members spent no less than 12.7 billion dollars!
If Amazon usually only offered one Prime Day session per year, the year 2022 had seen the e-commerce giant change its strategy. The latter had thus put the cover back on October 11 and 12, just a few weeks before Black Friday, to the delight of its loyal consumers.
The year 2023 will confirm this trend with a new Prime Day announced for the end of the year.
A second Prime Day session expected in October
Amazon has confirmed, through Doug Herrington, head of Worldwide Amazon Stores, that Prime Big Deal Days will be held in 19 countries around the world, and France is on the list.
We don’t yet have the exact dates when this new event will be held, but it’s a safe bet that Amazon will resume the slot used last year, namely the middle of October. Typically, Prime Day takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, which leads us to speculate that Prime Big Deal Days could take place on October 10 and 11, or October 17 and 18, but we are now awaiting official confirmation from ‘Amazon.
