That’s it, it has finally been announced after several weeks of teasing and a few leaks: the Freebox Ultra integrates Free’s internet offers and embeds the very latest standards and technologies.

This new box is compatible with 10G Fiber with for the first time a synchronous speed of 8 Gbit/s for download as well as upload. And to take advantage of all this theoretical speed, the Freebox Ultra is compatible with the very recent Wi-Fi 7 standard and its 6 GHz band, for a theoretical speed of 6 Gbit/s. A repeater supporting this standard will also be included.

Free’s new offers include numerous SVOD platforms (Disney+ with advertisements, Netflix with advertisements, Universal+, Canal+ live and Amazon Prime Video) for 50 euros per month (60 euros after one year). The operator, however, offers an offer 10 euros cheaper, but without including these different streaming services.

Are you going to upgrade to the Freebox Ultra?

While fiber tends to become more popular, including in rural areas, internet offers are becoming abundant across a large part of France. This new Freebox offer therefore lives with the times.

We therefore wanted to know if this Freebox Ultra tempts you, explaining your reasons each time:
