The word “smartphone” has imposed itself for a good reason. This electronic device that we carry around in our pocket is indeed intelligent (“smart”) since it allows us to surf the Internet, take photos galore, watch SVoD films, listen to streaming music, pay without contact, perform complex calculations, play games or even do video editing.
However, we sometimes tend to forget that a mobile phone is basically for making calls. It is therefore not surprising to find that a plethora of users no longer bother to personalize their ringtone. What’s the point if you only get a few calls?
Personalized phone ringtones, yes or no?
However, a few years ago, meticulously choosing your ringtone was commonplace. There were even advertisements on TV or in magazines inviting people to pay a certain sum in exchange for one or more popular songs to be set as ringtones.
