Four years ago, an assassin carried out an attack after an Ariana Grande concert. The singer’s thoughts are with the victims.

More than 800 people were injured in a terrorist attack shortly after a concert by the singer Ariana Grande (27) on May 22, 2017. A suicide bomber detonated a bomb in the foyer of the Manchester Arena, killing 22 people and himself. Grande remembers the victims in an Instagram story.

This day will “never be easy”

“Although grief is omnipresent and our relationship with it is constantly evolving and expressing itself in different ways every day, all year round, I know that this anniversary will never be an easy one,” writes the singer. “Please be sure that I am thinking of you today. Manchester, my heart is with you today and always.”

Every year, Grande reports on social media to remember the victims. Last year, for example, she explained in a story that not a single day goes by on which “all of us” are not still affected. “I will think of you all week as well as on the weekend. My heart, my thoughts, my prayers are always with you.”
