(CercleFinance.com) – Arkema announces that it has finalized the acquisition of Permoseal (43M turnover in 2021) in South Africa, a specialist in adhesive solutions for DIY, packaging and construction.
Permoseal’s brands will complement the offer of Bostik (a company belonging to Arkema) in the region and strengthen its positions in the dynamic markets of industry, construction and DIY by
South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.
This acquisition will also allow Bostik to consolidate its position in adhesives for packaging and expand its offer of sustainable solutions for the industrial sector in the South African market.
‘This transaction marks a new step in Bostik’s growth ambition. It is also fully in line with the Group’s strategy to become a pure Specialty Materials player by 2024,” said Vincent Legros, CEO of Bostik.
