Arkema: inaugurates a joint laboratory with the CNRS

(CercleFinance.com) – Arkema announces that it has inaugurated today LAMPS, a joint laboratory with the CNRS and the University of Haute-Alsace.

The teams will work around the development of innovative polymer materials by ultraviolet radiation, using a solvent-free and low-energy technology of the future called photopolymerization, says Arkema.

The creation of this laboratory is part of a framework research collaboration agreement between the CNRS and Arkema.

A first agreement was signed in 2008, followed in 2017 by a second agreement for a period of five years, renewed at the beginning of 2022 until 2026.
The CNRS and Arkema filed 56 joint patents over the period 2017-2021.
