(CercleFinance.com) – Arkema announced on Thursday the appointment of two new directors to its executive committee under the leadership of Thierry Le Hénaff, the current CEO of the chemicals group.
Sophie Fouillat, currently director of strategy and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at the Bostik subsidiary, has been appointed general director in charge of group strategy.
She will replace Bernard Boyer, who has exercised his retirement rights, as of October 1.
New to the company, German Tilo Quink will join the company from Henkel on September 1 as Deputy General Manager of Performance Additives, a position previously held by Laurent Tellier.
The latter, already a member of the management committee, will in fact be called upon to take on the role of deputy general manager in charge of high-performance polymers and fluorinated gases, thus succeeding Erwoan Pezron, who will become an advisor to the CEO and will remain a member of the executive committee until his retirement at the end of the year.
Chaired by Thierry Le Hénaff, Arkema’s executive committee will subsequently be composed of a total of nine members.
