On St. Stephen’s Day, a skiing accident occurred around midday near the exit point of the Hochalmbahn in Obertauern. The culprit has not yet been identified.
A previously unknown person ran over the ends of a 50-year-old Viennese woman’s skis in good visibility, causing the woman’s skis to cross and cause her to fall. The 50-year-old suffered injuries to her left arm, even though she was wearing a helmet. With the help of a skidoo the Viennese woman was rescued and brought to the valley.
