Here you will find a second instruction for a cozy blanket with XXL wool, which is not knitted with the arms, but with huge needles.

Arm knitting: super fast – without any needles

To knit a blanket or a scarf in no time – the dream of all do-it-yourselfers! With this knitting trend, it is finally coming true: Arm knitting is more popular than ever among DIY fans, because all you need is really thick, cozy wool – and two healthy arms.

Knitting with arms and fingers – how does it work?

With arm knitting – or arm knitting – the needles simply fall away. Instead, cast on the stitches with the arms and work the rows with the arms. Otherwise, the movements in arm or finger knitting are exactly the same that you already know from real knitting. The difference: after just three rows you have a remarkable result in your hands. We show you exactly how this works in our photo series above.

To get started, we have chosen a 1 meter wide blanket with approx. 30 meshes. These instructions are one of the most popular on the DaWanda instruction portal "DIY with love". With it you can easily learn the arm knitting technique and practice it for a while. At some point you will get the hang of it and know how to guide the working thread when knitting with your fingers, how to make the loop and how it works with the stitches. You will then quickly notice that you do not need any needles for knitting. Then it's time for the next step: We'll show you how to knit a scarf with arms and fingers in just half an hour.
