Bohemia Interactive had made an appointment with its Arma community on May 17, when leaks had, more or less, announced the color. Not surprisingly, the Czech studio unveiled Arma Reforgeran important and necessary step before Arma 4, which is already available.
Arma Reforger officially announced
Thus, after a brief thank you to the Arma community, bringing together millions of players, while making a summary of the license, which began with Arma Cold War Assault, we had the right to the long-awaited revelation: Arma Reforge. However, Bohemia Interactive wanted to clarify, right away, so that there is no confusion, that it was not Arma 4, which was a different game.
Arma Reforging is indeed an important step before Arma 4, and this game aims to prepare players, and especially modders, but also developers for Arma 4, which will be released (much) later. Already available, Arma Reforger will offer a solo game, allowing you to rediscover the locations of Operation Flashpoint with Éveron, an island of 51 km². But the most important part is the multiplayer, which will offer a multitude of fights and countless weapons.
A Game Master mode is also in the game, for those who like more personalized or customizable games. It will be possible to create unique missions or to offer more challenges to other players. In short, a real sandbox. Mod support is, of course, part of Arma Reforger.
Finally, as expected, Arma Reforger is also coming to Xbox consoles, so that as many players as possible can discover this experience. As we told you above, Arma Reforger is now available, on Steam and the Microsoft Store, in early access.
