Molly Shannon accuses Arnold and Willy star Gary Coleman of sexual assault. At the microphone of the Howard Stern Show, the American actress, seen recently in the credits of The White Lotus, indicates that the facts date back to the end of the 80s, when she signed a contract with Coleman’s manager. She had then met him in his hotel room.

“He asked me to sit on the bed. It was very cute. And then he started tickling me a little”says the 57-year-old actress, who was promoting her book Hello, Molly. The American then recounts having told Coleman that she was “virgin“, trying to “stay polite” to refuse his advances. But the hero of Arnold and Willy would then have been more and more aggressive towards her.

“He didn’t stop”continues the actress in comments reported by Variety. “He was trying to kiss me and get on top of me and I was like, ‘No, Gary. Stop.” So I threw him off, I got up from the bed but he started climbing on the bed and bouncing on it, then he hugged me. I pushed him back. Then he got on me. (…) It started again and again.”

Gary Coleman played the character of Arnold for eight seasons in the cult series Arnold and Willy before experiencing a chaotic career, between financial problems, attempted suicide and domestic violence. Suffering from a congenital autoimmune disease, he died in 2010 at the age of 42.
