Netflix is not only making Arnold Schwarzenegger the hero of the action series “FUBAR”, the streaming service is also planning a three-part documentary series about the bodybuilder-turned-actor-governor.

- But a few weeks after “FUBAR” a new documentary about Arnie starts with “Arnold”.
- In it, Schwarzenegger and his friends tell the life story of the child prodigy from Austria.
Both Paramount+ and Amazon Prime Video are currently vying for Sylvester Stallone’s favor. The action icon can be seen on Paramount+ in “Tulsa King” and will soon have his own reality show about his family, but Amazon has bought out MGM and is now planning new series and films with the “Rocky” actor.
But while Stallone has yet to settle on a definitive streaming home, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s case is clear – he’s heading to Netflix! In fact, it’s almost that time, the action comedy series “FUBAR” will start on May 25, 2023.
However, to prove that they are serious about Schwarzenegger, Netflix not only produced “FUBAR”, but also the documentary series “Arnold”, which was released almost two weeks later, on June 7, 2023, in Netflix’s New Releases program will land.
Unlike “Pumping Iron”, the cult documentary about Arnie’s time as a bodybuilder, “Arnold” will deal with Schwarzenegger’s whole life in three episodes. Through interviews with Schwarzenegger himself and numerous companions, we experience Arnold’s path from Austria to Hollywood and his career as governor of California.
Maybe Netflix will increase its own Schwarzenegger offer a bit in the coming weeks and months, because you can currently only see “Terminator: Genisys” on the streaming service – and who wants that?
