Arnold Schwarzenegger took the leather pants out of the closet again. The Hollywood star was visiting Munich at the weekend.

He never misses the annual Oktoberfest either: Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger (75). The Austrian-American actor paid a visit to the traditional event on Munich’s Theresienwiese on Saturday evening. His sons Patrick (29) and Christopher Schwarzenegger (24) and girlfriend Heather Milligan (47) were also part of the party and let it rip in lederhosen and dirndls in the Marstall marquee.

With Schwarzenegger, however, the motto was apparently: first the pleasure, then the work. Because on Sunday the US politician visited and opened the “Bits & Pretzels” start-up fair in Munich. Around 5,000 visitors came to the event for start-ups to follow the lectures, workshops and panel discussions. There, too, the dress code was traditional costume, which is why Schwarzenegger threw himself into leather pants again, with which he combined a blue and white checked shirt and a green and blue cardigan.

Important message with a serious tone

On stage, Schwarzenegger, who has been committed to environmental protection for many years, quickly struck a serious note. In front of the around 300 founders who had traveled there, he spoke about topics such as fossil energy, nuclear power and climate protection. His appeal: You can achieve anything you want, you just need a “clear vision”.
