For cracks and chapping, small sores that are quite common in this winter period, “we will already use the right vegetable oils, such as calendula oil or even daisies oil which will regenerate the skin”. In order to maximize the benefits of vegetable oil from daisies, “we can use essential oil of geranium” specifies Françoise Couic-Marinier.

Peppermint for digestion

Another common worry during this holiday season is difficult digestion. Again, there is an essential oil that is suitable: that of peppermint. In prevention, “we can combine it with lemon: a drop of each, ideally before the meal”, enlightens the specialist.

In cases of gastroenteritis, “for adults, the essential oil to use is that of laurel”. It is a real “digestive antiseptic” that you can massage on your stomach. It can also be swallowed in a spoon of vegetable oil.
