Arrest – Dispute between pedestrian and driver escalates

A pedestrian (28) and a driver (37) got into an argument about the priority rules on a protective path in the city of Salzburg on Monday. The 28-year-old was seriously injured.

The driver knocked his opponent to the ground and then kicked the 28-year-old Turk in the head several times, seriously injuring him. The 37-year-old Bosnian then got into his car and fled. Thanks to the immediate search, the driver was stopped at the train station a short time later and arrested. He had a blood alcohol level of 1.28.
