ARS, RSA, AAH… Discover the new amounts of social assistance which could be revalued

To cope with inflation and support the purchasing power of the French, several aids could be upgraded from July 1, 2022 as part of a bill. Social but also family benefits would be affected by a 4% increase desired by the government.

Several aids could be increased by 4% under the bill on purchasing power to help French households cope with inflation. If the law is adopted, certain and allowances will thus be revalued retroactively to July 1, 2022, after a first revaluation of 1.8% which occurred in April 2022, reports Le Figaro.

Several aids are concerned. Among them are the active solidarity income (RSA), the allowance for disabled adults (AAH), the solidarity allowance for the elderly (Aspa, or minimum old age), the solidarity allowances (AER, ASS and ATA) paid by Ple emploi or the employment bonus.

6million families concerned

Concretely, if the law passes, a beneficiary of the AHA will see his allowance revalued by 37 euros per month from July 1 (from 920,957 euros). the RSAhe will go from 575.52 to 598.54 euros for a single person without children. The Aspa will reach 953.45 euros whereas it is currently fixed at 916.78 euros maximum for a single person.

Several family allowances could also be increased: family allowances, the family supplement, the childcare allowance (Pay), the shared education benefit for the child (Prepared) and the additional free choice of childcare mode (CMG), the back-to-school allowance (ARS) and education allowance for disabled children (AEEH).
