ARTE organizes a new Game Jam

After the success of its first edition, ARTE has decided to organize a new Game Jam from January 6 to 8, 2023. The principle is simple. Teams made up of diverse and varied profiles will be accompanied by an industry personality to create a game prototype in a weekend. An opportunity for players to see behind the scenes for a weekend.

As for the first edition, registrations are open to everyone, whatever your skills. If by chance you want to try the experience, just fill out the registration form before November 20, 2022. In the end, 7 teams will be made up of 6 people each, and will have a personality from the French video game landscape as Mentor. Among the names already announced will be Lola Guilldou, Game Designer and videographer. She is also the co-creator of the studio Dimanche Corp. Thomas Altenburger, Game Designer and developer, he is manager of the Flying Oak Games studio. And finally, Nat’ali, streamer and outsider, she is a former character design and 3D student.

As a reminder, ARTE organized the first edition of the Game Jam in early March 2020 on the theme “7”. At the end of the weekend, the 120 participants imagined 20 games which were downloaded more than 2000 times. A simple and fun way to get a foothold in the world of video games, regardless of age or skill level.
