(Boursier.com) — artea acquires 7 additional hydraulic power stations in France. Since 2011, the group has been developing its fleet of hydraulic power stations in France, which today comprises some twenty power stations across France. With these new acquisitions, the group doubles its production capacity, from 8 MW to 16 MW.

This acquisition is part of a desire to produce and supply renewable and local electricity, intended to supply the group’s real estate and all of its activities related to the supply of energy.

Artea and its subsidiaries position themselves as a true creator of value, expert in the rehabilitation and repowering of power plants, some of which are very old. This know-how contributes to the development and growth of locally produced renewable energies. Repowering allows a plant to be modernized in order to increase its production capacity.

In 2023, Artea intends to accelerate its investments in renewable energies to consolidate its committed producer-supplier-operator model.
