Ary Abittan, indicted for rape, was excluded from a series whose filming had yet started. The producers preferred another actor to him.
Ary Abittan will ultimately not be part of the adventure of “The Man of Our Lives”. The actor had started filming this series which will be broadcast on M6. But the actor, accused of rape and indicted for these facts, was discarded from this series. He thus loses his role in “The Man of Our Lives” in favor of Jonathan Zaccaï, who succeeds him, as revealed Star TV. And yet, Ary Abittan had started shooting since October 11, 2022 the first scenes of the series in which he was to play a crook.
Due to the charges against Ary Abittan, filming was suspended a few days ago before resuming, without Ary Abittan, whose next show is also in jeopardy. Odile Vuillemin, Élodie Frégé, Helena Noguerra and Flore Bonaventura, the other actors of the series, found themselves again but without Ary Abittan, replaced at a moment’s notice by Jonathan Zaccaï who we saw in particular in “The Office of legends” . The latter will thus have to replay the sequences shot by his predecessor for the needs of this fiction which will be broadcast in four episodes of 52 minutes.
Ary Abittan accused of rape: his plans compromised?
It is not the only project of Ary Abittan which would be compromised. In addition to his tour initially scheduled from December 2021 until 2023, the promotion of the films in which he was to play is also questioned. This is particularly the case of the third part of the saga What we did to the Good Lord, scheduled for theaters on February 2, 2022. According to information from Close, producers held a crisis meeting. As a reminder, Ary Abittan remains presumed innocent of the facts alleged against him until the judicial outcome of the case.
