Communist parliamentarians are at the initiative of the “republican procession” which will march from the Assembly to the Elysée on Tuesday morning to “deliver, in person, to the President of the Republic a letter” asking for the withdrawal of the reform which provides for the raising the legal retirement age to 64, they wrote in a press release. The socialist group is waiting to receive an invitation from Elisabeth Borne to decide, according to a parliamentary source. Asked by AFP, the environmentalists have not responded at this stage.
