Ash Christian: Series star and producer was only 35 years old

Ash Christian is dead. The Emmy-awarded producer and series actor died at the age of 35.

Producer, filmmaker and series actor Ash Christian died last Thursday (August 13th) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. According to the US industry portal "Variety", the native Texan died in his sleep. The exact cause of death is not yet known.

Christian started writing and making short films at the age of 14. Two years later he moved to Los Angeles to gain a foothold in the film industry. Among other things, he founded his own production company called Cranium Entertainment and was responsible for films such as "Hurricane Bianca", "Burn" and "Social Animals". In 2014 he won a Daytime Emmy Award for his work as a producer on the film "mI Promise". Christian also took on roles as an actor in series such as "Law & Order", "The Good Wife" and "The Good Fight".

"Ash was a great friend, colleague and partner," said producer colleague Anne Clements in a statement. "He was an advocate of indie film and filmmaking, and his love for making films was infectious. The world has lost one of the good guys."
