Ashley Graham is currently expecting her second child. As in the first pregnancy, the model celebrates the changes in his body on Instagram. Apparently not everyone likes that. Because in her latest posting, the US beauty becomes sarcastic and addresses all those who criticize her again and again.
Ashley Graham, 33, doesn’t hide her curves – on the contrary. The American plays with staging her feminine curves. Even now in her second pregnancy. Her almost 14 million followers prefer to show themselves: inside in a bikini – or completely naked. Just like in your latest posting.
Ashley Graham is “naked again”
In the photo that Ashley last posted on Instagram, she is standing in front of a palm tree, leaning against a balustrade. She wears absolutely nothing on her body, the most intimate parts are only covered by her baby bump and one hand. It’s a photo that catches the eye because it’s real, it doesn’t seem to have been edited. And that is exactly what the “Sports Illustraded” beauty wants to show: every woman’s body is beautiful. From XS to XL. And stretch marks that can come with pregnancy are also completely natural and nothing to hide. And so Ashley deliberately shows her skin cracks on her hips and lower stomach. She writes words for the photo that make it clear what she wants to achieve with the photo: “Oh oh, she’s naked again.” It seems like it has received a lot of criticism in the past for precisely that.
Provocative picture with a clear message
The message that Ashley Graham wants to send out to the world by posting is clear: It is absolutely her own business how she shows herself to the world. Whether naked or with clothes on. The sarcastic undertone of her caption makes that very clear. For that she gets a lot of approval. “Beautiful,” writes model colleague Naomi Campbell, 51, who has just become a mother. Svenja Holtmann, also a new mom, comments with a simple: “Wow”, a green heart and a sun. The 33-year-old gets almost 620,000 likes within a few hours for the picture, with which she clearly addresses all of her critics. “I don’t care what you think of me,” Ashley seems to want to scream out into the world. An attitude that taught her to be a mother.
“Shit happens”
In general, the 33-year-old hardly seems to care what the public thinks of her. In March of last year, for example, she had to change her son Isaac unceremoniously in a supermarket because his diaper had literally “exploded”. A funny photo that she posted on Instagram caused a stir at the time. “Sh *** happens – no toilet in sight,” wrote Ashley about the snapshot, which shows her wrapped between felt-tip pens and other utensils on the floor.
We think it’s wonderfully honest. But their critics had all sorts of complaints. Ashley shouldn’t care, just as she doesn’t care what her critics say about her many nude photos.
