The Italian actress Daria Nicolodi has died at the age of 70. Her daughter Asia Argento said goodbye on Instagram.
The Italian actress and film director Asia Argento (45, "xXx – Triple X") has to cope with the death of her mother Daria Nicolodi (1950-2020). The actress died at the age of 70. Argento takes a touching farewell on Instagram: "Rest in peace, dear mother. Now you can fly freely with your great spirit and no longer have to suffer," writes Argento about a series of pictures taken by her mother at a young age and with her daughter demonstrate.
"I will try to carry on for your beloved grandchildren and especially for you – for those who would never have wanted to see me so sad," continues the mother of two. "Even if without you I can no longer feel the ground beneath my feet and have the feeling that I have lost my only true point of reference. I will always be your Aria."
Daria Nicolodi is best known for appearing in the films of Dario Argento (80), Asia Argento's father. The couple met in 1974 and separated in 1985. Nicolodi played in Argento's "Rosso – Color of Death", "Horror Infernal", "Phenomena" or "Terror in the Opera". Together with him she wrote the horror film "Suspiria".
