More than a month after that terrible day when the young girl was seen for the last time, many questions are still on everyone’s lips. If her boyfriend, Tao, was ruled out by investigators, the young man still remains very vague about the circumstances of his meeting with the teenager.
Where did Lina go? Since July 23, 2023, the young girl has been missing while walking to the Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station, just three kilometers from her home. The 15-year-old girl had planned to join her boyfriend Tao, 19, who was waiting for him at the Strasbourg station. A train on which the teenager never boarded as the images from video surveillance cameras proved. If at first the doubts turned towards her boyfriend, the young man was quickly removed from the list of suspects by investigators.
We later learned that the young man’s cell phone had been requisitioned and inspected by investigators. An analysis which proved that Tao was not around the scene of Lina’s disappearance that day while revealing that the girl had sent a video to her boyfriend around 11:20 a.m. that morning. Two minutes later, at 11:22 a.m. his phone blocked for the last time and then stopped transmitting. Aged 19, Tao, Lina’s boyfriend, originally from Marseille and now living in Strasbourg, moved there to follow training at the Compagnon du Devoir. It was in 2021 that the young man, four years older than Lisa, was named Best Apprentice in France for the Rhône-Alpes region. A mission during which he met the young girl in 2019, he explains: “We were friends first.
