“Asked – Hunted”
Quiz show more successful than ever this year
The last episode of “Gefragt – Gejagt” will air on October 4th before the winter break. Alexander Bommes has had a successful season.
“Asked – Hunted” once again thrilled viewers this year, but also touched them emotionally. On October 4th, after five months and 95 regular episodes, the season finale will air before the quiz show goes into winter break (6:00 p.m., the first). Alexander Bommes (48) was once again able to achieve strong ratings for ARD.
The season recorded a record share with an average market share of 13.2 percent among the target group of 20 to 59 year olds. The total audience was a strong 16.8 percent, giving an average audience reach of 2.231 million.
Peak viewership of 2.6 million
The most successful episode of the quiz show, in which people compete against experienced quiz masters, ran on July 12th. It reached 2.593 million viewers in the total audience and thus achieved a 19.1 percent market share.
The “Radio Week” at the end of September, in which presenters from the ARD radio waves competed against the quiz elite, was also impressive and recorded an average market share of 18 percent.
Farewell to Klaus Otto Nagorsnik
Despite the excellent ratings, a sad aftertaste remains from the “Asked – Hunted” season. On April 22nd, Klaus Otto Nagorsnik (1955-2024), who had appeared as “The Librarian” since the quiz show began in 2014, died completely unexpectedly at the age of 68. Seven episodes of the 13th season of “Gefragt – Gejagt” were already recorded with him and were broadcast between May 13th and July 17th. On July 20, Nagorsnik’s quiz colleagues and the team said an emotional farewell to him at a celebrity special.
ARD viewers don’t have to miss out on quizzes during Alexander Bommes and Co.’s winter vacation. From October 7th, Kai Pflaume (57) will take over with “Who knows something like that?” for the next few months the broadcast slot the evening before.
