ASM International raises its turnover target for 2025

Sept 26 (Reuters) – Dutch semiconductor equipment maker ASM International raised its 2025 revenue target on Tuesday, banking on its strategy of innovation and transition to new technologies.

The Amsterdam-listed group, which is holding its investor day on Tuesday, now expects to reach a turnover of 3 to 3.6 billion euros ($3.81 billion) within two years, compared to a range previous from 2.8 to 3.4 billion euros.

ASM International further reiterated its gross margin target at 46-50% and operating margin target at 26-31% for 2023-2025, and set the same targets for the period 2026-2027, saying it expects an upward trend in operating margin.

“Despite weakening economic conditions and the semiconductor equipment market this year, we believe we are on track to achieve our goals,” said President and CEO Benjamin Loh.

The group also confirmed its turnover target of between 580 and 620 million euros for the next quarter.
