ASRock recently announced the release of two Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 kits for its compatible Intel and AMD motherboards. They allow you to simply upgrade a configuration to take advantage of the latest standards in terms of connectivity.

Do you have an Intel or AMD ASRock motherboard, and want to add Wi-Fi6E or Bluetooth 5.2 to it? Well, the brand has the upgrade kits you need. The Taiwanese manufacturer has indeed drawn two complete kits.

Two different sizes…

These two kits are based on different formats, we learn TechPowerUp. The AMD kit is based on an M.2 2230 module and is probably equipped with the MediaTek MT7921K chipset, while the Intel kit is based on the CNVIo2 interface and an AX211 or AX411 chipset. It will therefore only be compatible with ASRock Intel 600 series motherboards.

The two kits announced by ASRock are anyway compatible Dual Band 2×2. For the rest, there are two antennas, extension cables as well as a plastic cover and a mounting screw for the modules. It is not known at this stage what the price positioning of these new products will be, which are not yet listed at specialist retailers.
