Ubisoft is currently preparing an ambitious new episode for the Assassin’s Creed saga. Codename Red is expected for the future fiscal year, i.e. before March 31, 2025. It will take place in Japan.

After Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a massive episode released in 2020, Ubisoft decided to take a big break with its flagship saga. There was the little parenthesis Assassin’s Creed Mirage in 2023, but we are still waiting to discover that it will really be the sequel, structured around the Infinity project. It will a priori be part of the company’s big releases expected for fiscal year 2025, which starts on April 1, 2024 (like Star Wars Outlaws, planned for 2024). When is Assassin’s Creed Codename Red taking place?

This is the only information that Ubisoft has given on the universe ofAssassin’s Creed Codename Red : it will take place in feudal Japan. A dream for many fans of the saga and this era foreshadows an attractive atmosphere. What is Assassin’s Creed Infinity again?

As Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe (which will offer a completely different experience), Assassin’s Creed Codename Red will be part of the Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform.
