Assassin’s Creed Mirage: a day one 1.0.2 patch available, here’s what it fixes

Three years after the arrival ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallafans of the license are finally entitled to a good dose of change of scenery with the release this week ofAssassin’s Creed Mirage, transporting us to Baghdad in the 9th century CE, during the time of the Abbasid Caliphate. For its launch, in addition to the return of bad financial practices, an update numbered 1.0.2 has been deployedin fact since Monday October 2 at 4:00 p.m. contrary to whatnoted the publisher’s website. It will therefore be downloaded at the same time as the rest of the game if you opt for a digital purchase or separately for the physical version.

It corrects a whole bunch of small problems that could potentially be encountered and here is our translation of its changelog :

  • PlayStation 5: 2.18 GB
  • PlayStation 4: 5.40 GB
  • PC: 0 GB (TU 1.0.2 is included in the 41.6 GB of files)

GAMEPLAY

  • Fixed cases where elevators could kill Basim.
  • Fragments might not be assigned correctly.
  • End-of-game rewards are now correctly awarded after completing the game.
  • Enemies now correctly take damage when falling.
  • The Auto Gather skill now works correctly on all enemies, regardless of how the player kills them.
  • Players will not lose control of Basim after fast traveling.
  • The reaction time of enemies when parrying is correctly slowed thanks to the Dagger of Time perk.
  • The Sand Sword perk now correctly heals Basim when he kills an enemy.
  • While wearing the Sandsuit, Basim will no longer be killed if he takes two lethal damage from two separate enemies at the same time.

USER INTERFACE

  • Quest markers no longer disappear after performing a save/load action.
  • The English language option now only appears correctly once in menus
  • Fixed UI instances displaying misplaced or incorrectly.

WORLD

  • NPCs on boats will continue to sail and will not remain stationary.
  • The animation of NPCs drinking has been fixed.
  • Removed invisible collisions for certain objects in Baghdad.

QUESTS

  • NPC detection has been improved during the Golden Butterflies quest.
  • Fixed item rewards from The Forty Thieves quest not being visible in-game.
  • Lines of dialogue when listening are now played correctly.
  • Destination Baghdad – It was sometimes impossible to interact in Harbiyah’s office if the Investigation menu was opened too quickly after the dialogue scene.
  • The Beast’s Den – It was sometimes impossible to interact properly with Ali in the “Talk to Ali” objective.
  • Catch a Demon – Sometimes it was impossible to interact with the Tool Wheel or World Map by being detected by enemies when interacting with clues.
  • Golden Butterflies – Fighting during the “Grand Auctions” could interrupt the quest progress.
  • The Great Symposium – Fixed blockers for the “Find Fazil, the Great Scholar” objective.
  • The Serpent’s Nest – Dialogues now trigger correctly for Basim.

GRAPHICS, ANIMATIONS AND PERFORMANCES

  • Numerous graphical, environmental and VFX improvements.
  • Several stability improvements.
  • Fixed enemies and bosses having abnormal poses.
  • Fixed abnormal animations for Basim and/or Nehal.
  • Refresh rate settings will now display the correct information.
  • The animations for finishers are more polished.
  • Substitute sentences/dialogue appearing too long are now removed.
  • Fixed conditions where cutscenes would not display carried items.
  • Configuration optimization for ultra-wide and multi-monitor modes.
  • Settings are now persistent on Luna.
