Between two rumors about Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, Assassin’s Creed Mirage continues to make waves following its launch last month. It recently received a 1.0.5 update mainly to correct a few issues and it’s not finished, because Ubisoft has announcement excellent news this Wednesday. In response to community requests, a way New Game+ will be added via a free patch in December and will be accompanied in all difficulties by a permanent death option, if you ever want a more challenging challenge. A visual accompanies everything and shows us Basim wearing a superb, richly ornamented outfit, which will undoubtedly be won by restarting a game. We will know more soon.
On the other hand, it would still be time for publishers to stop offering such a mode several months after the launch to rekindle interest instead of including it from the release, especially since it is a recurring request . It is also a shame that Valhalla was not entitled to it…
But that’s not all, because a new edition of the game has appeared in virtual stores, the Master Assassin Edition. You will quickly understand, it is simply a grouping of all the additional content released so far. Where the problem lies if you ever fell for the different cosmetic packs in the Animus Storeis that’it “only” costs €89.99, the base game being sold for €49.99 and the Deluxe €59.99. Except, the Card Pack not present, the additional content included compared to the latter represented, as a reminder, €49.95, see our dedicated article. It is therefore obviously more advantageous and a bad move on the part of the publisher who should have offered it day one.
Besides, our questioning about the last changelog which indicated the existence of “Master Assassin Upgrade #1 and #2” is now answered. On the PlayStation Store for example, we are thus entitled to a Master Assassin Upgrade Set 1 sold for €39.99 and which gives access to all the content of the Master Assassin Edition if you already own the base game and a Master Assassin 2 Upgrade Set at €29.99 for those who fell for the Deluxe.
