For a few days, we have known thatAssassin’s Creed Mirage is the next installment in the franchise. Ubisoft took advantage of its annual conference to tell us a little more, in particular with a first trailer in which we can get to know this new worldwhich has not yet been explored by the license.
In Mirage, we will indeed be immersed in 9th century Baghdad, the story therefore taking place only a few years before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Besides, we will find, as the rumors indicated, a well-known character from this episode, since we will play Basim, so younger. We should find out how he went from street thief to Assassin.
As other rumors had also explained, we should find a more basic gameplay, more focused on the narrative while encouraging players to be stealthy and use assassinations. Historical characters from the franchise are also expected to make an appearance. You can watch the first images of Assassin’s Creed Mirage in the trailer below.
We will have to wait a few more weeks, or even more, to find out more about Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which does not yet have a release date. Its launch is however scheduled for 2023, between March and June according to rumors, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series.
