Assassin’s Creed Mirage will offer around twenty hours of gameplay

After some rumours, Assassin’s Creed Mirage was revealed to the players, thanks to a very nice cutscene. In the process, Ubisoft obviously gave us a lot of information and details, in particular by confirming the fact that Mirage had initially been thought to be a Valhalla DLC. But the story had the potential to be a game in its own right.

Marc-Alexis Côté, vice-president and executive producer of Assassin’s Creed, also gave an indication of the lifespan. And we will have, there too, the right to a small return to the sources. If the gameplay will leave aside the RPG aspect to return to something close to the first episodes, the duration of the story will follow the same path. In an interview with IGN, the latter explains that gamers should expect a lifespan of between 15 and 20 hourssomething ” which approximates our original games “.

Mirage is a smaller project, since it aims in particular to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the franchise. We will therefore not have dozens of hours of exploration and combat ahead of us, as was the case for Valhalla. Moreover, several players did not particularly appreciate the length of the last episode of the franchise, since it takes a good forty hours, at the very least, to overcome it. Sto have that the lifespan of Mirage will be less important can therefore be welcomed as good news.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled to arrive in 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series, with no specific date yet. The other major change is also the price, given that it will be sold for the sum of € 49.99.
