The latest opus of the Assassin’s Creed license, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, was released in November 2020 and was then made available on most gaming platforms. Since its official release, Ubisoft has been working on the software, in order to bring novelties. On this subject, we learned in June that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will soon welcome a free DLC, called “The Forgotten Saga”.
Recently, the studio in charge of the title revealed more details about the The Forgotten Saga DLC, which is expected to land later this summer. This additional content will introduce a new roguelite-like game modein which players will embody Odin and will have to complete various challenges, in the heart of Nilfheim.
By exploring the four regions of Nilfheim, it will be possible to discover secret areas and merchants, which will increase your chances of survival and improve your character. Additionally, as no gear collected in England will be available in The Forgotten Saga, players will need to explore locations in order to find outfits, granting various buffs. In addition, by meeting various NPCs and completing secondary quests, we can unlock many rewards, more or less interesting.
Obviously, The Forgotten Saga adventure will present a certain difficulty and the enemies present will be formidable. However, upgrades and equipment unlocked during a run will persist in the event of death “.
For the moment, Ubisoft has not communicated an official release date for The Forgotten Saga DLC, coming to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Of course, as soon as more information becomes available, we will keep you informed.
