End of supportAssassin’s Creed Valhalla fast approaching. The latest episode will have had a lot of extra content over the past two years, but now thatAssassin’s Creed Mirage and the other opuses of the license are coming, it’s time for Ubisoft to close this chapter. For this, an ultimate free DLC had been announced, and this one has just been dated.
No New Game + despite demand
Get ready to say goodbye to Eivor, since his latest adventure will be available from December 6th. This update ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallatitled The Last Chapterwill indeed be free, and to take part in this quest, you must first have completed the following objectives:
- Completed the main story by declaring an interest in all territories of England
- Completed the mythological tales of Asgard and Jotunheim
- Raise the settlement to level 5 and build the barracks of Jomsvikings
- Eliminated all targets of the Order of the Ancients and revealed their leader
In contrast, Ubisoft informs us that despite the request of the community, no New Game + mode will be integrated into the game. Not now, not December 6, not ever, since this update will be the last for the game. Ubisoft justifies itself by stating that it would not fit well with the adventure:
” Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was built as a specific Assassin’s Creed experience, very different in its structure from previous titles and offering new ways to approach the universe and its characters. When we investigated the possibility of implementing a New Game+ mode, we realized that the depth of the game limited the possibilities of providing unique and rewarding replayability. ยป
