In general, most games have, from their launch or a little later, the New Game + mode (“New game +”, in French). To cite just one example, the developers of the Spiders studio added this feature to Steelrising, a few weeks after the official release of the title. Unfortunately, this mode will not arrive on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will not have New Game+
Although this feature is highly anticipated by gamers, Ubisoft has decided not to add New Game+ to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. A news that we learn thanks to an article recently published on the official website, and in which we can read:
[…] Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was built as a specific Assassin’s Creed experience, very different in its structure from previous titles and offering new ways to approach the universe and its characters. When we investigated the possibility of implementing a New Game+ mode, we realized that the depth of the game limited the possibilities of providing unique and rewarding replayability. […]
However, note that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will soon host a new DLC. Free, this additional content is called “The Lost Chapter” and will bring a conclusion to the adventures of Eivor and the Great Raven clan. Moreover, the release date of this DLC is now known.
