This Tuesday, November 16, 2021, four young men were arrested in connection with the assault allegedly suffered by Carolie Dubost, LREM member in the street in Paris.
Four arrests were made on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 by the Paris judicial police, according to LCI. In question, the assault of which the elected LREM Coralie Dubost and her husband was victim, on October 19, 2021 in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The MP was first reportedly knocked down before her attackers stole her purse while her husband was allegedly strangled and had his Rolex watch and wallet stolen.
Among the four young people arrested by the police on November 16, 2021, three of them, aged between 17 and 18, are already known to the police for theft and violence. The fourth, aged 17, was reportedly taken from his cell, while he is currently in prison.
Coralie Dubost confided in an interview with CNews. She claims to be fine and hopes “that the attackers will be arrested, confronted and will be able to go to court. Life must take over and I am taking the streets of Paris again”, she concluded.
