According to a media report, shortly before the start of filming, Cardi B left a new film project.

In January 2021 it was announced that Cardi B (29) would take on the leading role in the comedy “Assisted Living”. Nothing will come of it, at least for the time being. It was supposed to be filmed in about a week, but the rapper recently left the project, reports the industry portal “Deadline”, citing insiders.

There is still hope

According to the anonymous sources, Cardi B just has too much other work to do. According to the report, the rest of the cast and crew have now been told that production on the comedy will be completely halted until further notice. Thembi Banks was to direct. However, it is hoped that work on the project can be resumed this year.

The rapper, who has also appeared in “Hustlers” alongside Jennifer Lopez (52), is said to embody a criminal who is on the run after being wrongly accused of a crime. She wants to prove her innocence and hides in her grandmother’s nursing home.
