Above all, the association “Osttirol Natur” and chairperson Renate Hölzl, who wrote an open letter to the mayor Elisabeth Blanik (SP) and the municipal council: “Is the income in the form of municipal taxes for a maximum of 25 jobs really in proportion to what we do of added value – namely the most valuable areas of land that we urgently need in times of climate change for the local supply of food for the population, as retention areas for floods and storage areas for CO₂?”, it says.
