Assystem: decline in operating margin over the half-year








(Boursier.com) — The group Assystem generated a consolidated half-year operating profit of 19.7 ME, compared to 14.4 ME in the first half of 2022. It takes into account operational income not linked to the activity in the amount of 5 ME, mainly made up of the reversal of relative provision to the 2011 and 2012 CIR dispute regarding charges relating to share-based payments (AGA).

As of June 30, 2023, the consolidated operating profit from activity was 15.7 ME compared to 16.4 ME a year earlier. The operating margin of activity amounts to 5.6% compared to 6.8% as of June 30, 2022, under the effect of the early recruitment campaign. This campaign was launched at the end of 2022 to ensure the group’s growth in the medium term.

The consolidated net profit stood at 21 ME, compared to 32.7 ME as of June 30, 2022 (which included 13.7 ME of results from activities sold in 2022).

Assystem recorded half-year turnover of €282.5 million, up +16.9% compared to the first half of 2022, including +13.9% organically.

Assystem had raised its 2023 targets at the end of July and now forecasts a consolidated turnover of around €570 million with an operating profit of around €35 ​​million.
