Many people have great concerns when it comes to the AstraZeneca vaccine. A survey among the federal states shows how often vaccination appointments are missed.

It is desperate: On the one hand there are millions of people who are urgently waiting for a vaccination against the coronavirus – and on the other hand people who have a vaccination appointment but prefer to let it expire due to concerns about the AstraZeneca vaccine. The result is that countless doses of vaccine expire and have to be thrown away – while at the same time a large number of unvaccinated people would have given almost anything to get them.

Failure rate of 25 percent in Hessen

A survey by the NDR has now shown how high the number of missed vaccination appointments actually is – and in the case of the state of Hesse even came to a frightening 25 percent. You can see in the video in which federal states the situation is different and why “action days” were able to help.
