After almost a year of waiting, “Astrid and Raphaëlle”, the detective series led by Sara Mortensen and Lola Dewaere, is preparing to make its big return on France 2 for a season 4 which promises to be under the sign of change.
After a year of waiting, the investigative duo Astrid and Raphaëlle are finally preparing to make their comeback! France 2 will indeed broadcast from Friday, November 10, season 4 of the detective series hosted by Sara Mortensen and Lola Dewaere.
In this new burst of episodes, Astrid and Raphaëlle will have to solve new mysterious enigmas that will take them from the bloody theft of a diamond to a Machiavellian game of chess, from a murder in mid-flight in the cabin of a plane to a dying victim for the second time.
The two friends will also see their personal lives take a new turn, as Sara Mortensen told us a few months ago. Astrid will thus see Niels, her very invasive 7-year-old half-brother, whose existence she has only just learned about, appear in her well-ordered life.
On the heart side, she tries to build a relationship with Tetsuo. She will find herself confronted with new problems, and will seek advice from Raphaëlle, who also has heart problems.
While the latter thought she was finally concluding with Nicolas, a misunderstanding will reshuffle the cards. The police station will also welcome a new colleague, Nora, who will sow discord in this sentimental imbroglio.
After the record success of season 3, which attracted an average of nearly 5.8 million viewers, giving the police series its best audience since its launch, Astrid and Raphaëlle are back in action in season 4.
For the occasion, Sara Mortensen, Lola Dewaere, Benoît Michel and Kengo Saïto will be back in this new burst of episodes. On the new side, Sophia Yamna, a young actress who gets her first role here, joins the team to play Nora, a new recruit in Raphaëlle’s team. Handy Gedio will lend his features to Niels, Astrid’s little brother.
As for the guests, Tom Villa, Philippe Chevallier, Stomy Bugsy, Théo Curin (a former vice world disabled sports champion who became an actor), Marie-Ange Casta, Lola Marois and even Catherine Marchal will make an appearance for an episode.
