These zodiac signs are most strongly represented in the Bundestag
Olaf Scholz was born under the sign of Gemini, Annalena Baerbock is Sagittarius. But which zodiac sign do most members of the Bundestag have? The team at an Astro platform has clarified the question.
In his work “Politeia”, Plato presents the idea that there is a certain type of person who is particularly suited to governing a country. In Plato, this type of person is a philosophical character or a wise one. Rulers should ideally represent reason, not passions or greed. Incidentally, Plato warns that the same is true of the individual: the mind is our most apt means of directing our behavior and making decisions, while passions and desires should follow its lead.
In our society, Plato’s suggestion has obviously not been accepted: a person does not have to be particularly wise to get into our parliament, but to get the most votes. Our members of the Bundestag do not represent reason, but the voters, especially their majority. At least that’s the idea.
Zodiac structure of the Bundestag: The element earth dominates
We can find out which types of people actually make decisions for us in our parliament on the website of the German Bundestag, bundestag.de, to get an impression of where, for example, the social and age structure of all members of parliament is published. The astro platform tarotgratis.de has created an additional overview based on the publicly available data – and compiled which zodiac structure determines our Bundestag.
While the current Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, was born in the air sign Gemini on June 14, and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock was in the fire sign Sagittarius on December 15. According to the Astro-Platform analysis, the majority of the Bundestag consists of Taurus-born: 75 MEPs therefore celebrate their birthdays between April 21st and May 20th. The second most represented zodiac sign also belongs to the element of earth: According to tarotgratis.de, 71 members of parliament were born Virgo. Zodiac sign Libra is represented with 67 people and thus represents the third strongest force, in the bottom three places are Sagittarius (57), Pisces (51) and Scorpio (46) – and the remaining six zodiac signs are distributed in a number somewhere in between among the remaining seats.
Are Taurus and Virgo good MPs?
In astrology, bulls are considered to be particularly value-conscious, loyal, down-to-earth and pragmatic. A Taurus would be more likely to be skeptical of change and try to defend the status quo than a Sagittarius or Aquarius. Virgos, on the other hand, are said to be the most perfectionist zodiac signs. Orderliness, accuracy, reliability and commitment are among the typical qualities that experts commonly ascribe to them.
Would Plato have seen these personality traits as suitable for a seat in parliament?
We can’t ask him. Perhaps he would be with us in the following thoughts: Which type of person we classify a person based on mere data does not provide any information about how suitable they are to make responsible, intelligent decisions. A Taurus can be just as good a politician, leader, or president as a Scorpio. A 42-year-old man just like a 67-year-old man. Women can stand up for men and men can stand up for women. Even if we do it all the time – and sometimes even have fun doing it, as in the case of astrology – we can’t pigeonhole people without doing them an injustice. However, the more diversity we experience, the more different people we get to know individually and can remove from these drawers, the softer and more dynamic our categories become and the more of a person we can perceive.
And perhaps that is also a feature that could make a suitable member of the Bundestag: an awareness of the value of diversity. Of course, in order to create and sharpen this, we need all zodiac signs equally and together.
