Asus has just announced its two new smartphones dedicated to gamers: the ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. These two products want to bring the best in terms of mobile games thanks to their optimal performance and their design which facilitates heat dissipation.
The ROG Phone is one of the flagship products in the world of gaming smartphones and today Asus is announcing two new models: the ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Both want to bring the best in terms of pure performance, enough to play all the titles available on Android with confidence.
The terminals are equipped with an AMOLED panel (signed by Samsung) of 6.78 inches and a definition of 2248 x 1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 165Hz. Asus promises a response rate of 1 ms, a brightness of 1000 nits to play quietly outside as well as a very great respect for colors with an average Delta E lower than 1. The Ultimate version has an additional screen on the back (ROG Vision) capable of displaying animations and colors. A feature reminiscent of the AnimeMatrix of the brand’s gaming PCs.
ROG Phone 7 bets on pure power
Both products are obviously equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the most powerful on the market today, supported by an Adreno 740 GPU. Enough to run everything without worry. For heat management, Asus offers a new system called “Gamecool 7” which includes a larger vapor chamber and reduced throttling. Note that on the Ultimate model, we find a small hatch on the hull that opens automatically in game. Big players can also opt for a compatible external fan (AeroActive Cooler 7) to keep their terminal cool.
For the rest, we note a massive 6000 mAh battery with a fast charge of 65 Watts as well as a photo module consisting of a main sensor of 50 Mp, an ultra wide angle of 13 Mp and a macro of 5 Mp. Both phones adopt dimensions of 173 x 77 x 10.4 mm and weigh 239 grams. Beautiful babies.
