ASUS has just presented a brand new laptop in France, the Zenbook 14 OLED 2023. It succeeds the model of the same name, but which bears the reference UX3402. So be careful not to confuse them.
The Taiwanese giant ASUS has launched a new “ultraportable” laptop PC in France, the Zenbook 14 OLED. The latter takes up the main features of its predecessor, but introduces the new Intel Core Ultra chips, providing enough power for all daily tasks.
The new Zenbook 14 OLED also focuses on its ever more compact design, with a profile of only 14.9 and a weight of 1.2 kg. Its finesse prevents it from using a dedicated graphics card, and you will therefore have to make do with the Intel ARC iGPU of the new chips from the American giant.

ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED upgrades to Intel Core Ultra chipsets
Under the hood, this time we find an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor, an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H depending on the configuration chosen. They are supported by up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X 7467 MHz RAM, and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
The chips offer Wi-Fi 6 connectivityE and Bluetooth 5.3, and we find numerous connections on the side: two Thunderbolt 4 Type C ports, 1 USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, 1 HDMI 2.1 port as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The strong point of this computer is above all its OLED screen, which offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a fairly rare feature on computers costing less than 1000 euros. It also offers a brightness of 600 nits, and a 3K definition (2880 x 1800 pixels). We can also expect excellent autonomy thanks to the large 75 Wh battery.
The new ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED is available in France today from 999 euros in its configuration with an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H chip in two colors: Foggy Silver and Ponder Blue. With such a technical sheet, it therefore seems to be an excellent alternative to Apple’s MacBook Air, which does not offer such a high-quality screen.
